Privacy & consent

Simple, respectful and private.

This is a personal photography project. The website is deliberately built to collect as little information as possible.

What this website does not do

It uses no cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, accounts, public uploads or browser storage. It does not send form entries to a website database. The photographs and design files load directly from this website without third-party services.

When you request your photos

The request form stays on your device. Selecting “Send” opens your own email app and addresses a message to hello@peopleimeet.photos. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send that email.

If you do, your name, email address, card reference, meeting details and optional message are used only to identify your photos and send the files or a private gallery link. They are not used for marketing, sold or shared with anyone for their own purposes. The request email is deleted as soon as delivery is complete.

Photographs, stories and names

Permission to take a photograph and privately send free copies is separate from permission to publish. Nothing is published on this website or social media without the person’s separate, express permission.

No name is displayed unless the person expressly agrees. If a name is used, it is a first name only. A person may remain anonymous.

Your choices

You may change your mind, withdraw publication permission, ask what information is held, request correction or deletion, or ask for a published photograph or story to be removed. Requests will be handled as soon as reasonably possible.

Contact

People I Meet is run by Dermot. Email hello@peopleimeet.photos with a photo request, privacy question or removal request. If you remain unhappy about the use of your personal information, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
